Why adjustable glides are important in commercial settings

There is nothing worse than a table that rocks as it is used. On a personal level this is annoying, but in a commercial setting this could cause accidents and unhappy customers. This is why adjustable glides are important to fit to chairs and tables that may have this issue. They can be bought in a range of shapes and colors so that they match well with the furniture they are being fitted to.

Preventing scratches with adjustable glides

Another use for adjustable glides is to prevent scratching on expensive or delicate flooring. As they put a layer between the chair and the floor surface, they protect not only the flooring, but the chair as well. In settings where chairs will be frequently moved around, this is an important thing to bear in mind. Using chairs without glides is a quick way to cause permanent damage to fixtures.
